I heard this song by Avicii today and it reminded of the moment,when I heard it upon its release in 2013.  A line of their song “Wake Me Up” particularly jumped out at me. It was at this point in my life when I had recently committed my self to action and making things happen for myself.  I was saddened by the line because as much as I loved the song, I didn’t want to be a person just hoping for a chance to experience the world, I wanted to have plans.

“Hope I get the chance to travel the world,

But I don’t have any plans”

I have vowed to make plans and have been making things happen for me. I go places and experience life. I am so often caught off guard by the wonders that I have left to experience. I just wanted to say to you today, “Go. Make Plans. Experience Your Life Today.” You’re never going to get anywhere without plans to start you moving forward.

Someone asked me today, “how are you able to do all this travel?” And the simple answer is “I plan and save.”  I am committed to moving forward. I hope you are too.
