“Sometimes I see life so closely that I don’t see the beginning or the end. I just see, hear, taste, touch and smell what is immediately in front of me.”

So much around me, without a focus on any one thing. Sometimes I feel like my brain wants to take in everything all at once.  Life as a sensor….

Traffic. Touchy car. Tall building. Bright sun. Red brick. Walking. Basement. Music. Signs. Walking. Construction. Smells. Food. Coffee. Watching. Music. Conversations. Job. Thoughts.  Lost. Confused. Torn. Writing. Release. Walking. Music. Art. Reading. Watching. Construction. Dirt. Diggers. Towers. Bustle. Jackets. Photos. Scarves. Headphones. Smoking.  Waiting. Watching.  Sun. Clouds. Sighting. Suit. Running.

Today, I was in Manchester. I am at a cross-roads. I have just received a job offer to go somewhere unexpected. So much is up in the air. And as I struggle through my decisions, life continues to move at an amazing pace. It is such an amazing gift sometimes to just stop and take in all that is around me, getting lost in it all.

“To acquire knowledge, one must study; but to acquire wisdom, one must observe.” -Marilyn vos Savant-

For me the music that accompanies such emotions is full energy, passion and movement. Like that of the amazing Ludovico Einaudi.
