In my travels, will often meet humans who live their lives so completely different than me. Different, but so utterly beautiful. Aoife and Joe run an organic farm in Ireland and in the midst of this, they are raising their beautiful little girl. I was so struck by the process of life on the farm and how Eden was involved, that I documented a part of their day. When I asked Aiofe about what they thought Eden would learn as a part of it all, here is what she said…

I don’t know exactly what Eden will take from her experience growing up on an organic farm.

 

I hope that she will realize that life can be very simple and that she can grow her food herself. And hopefully Joe will teach her that she can build things.

 

It’s only now I’m realizing how simple life can be. She may have this knowledge innately. We hope she will learn about animals and respect them and their part in our lives. Apart from that we hope she will benefit from the fresh air, the healthy food, the exercise. And a love of food and growing.
