“The exuberance of the kids combined with the fresh air makes me feel so at peace and happy here.”

We just had the loveliest day in Westport, Ireland. The day started with Enda was harassing me and Liam to clean, just the way you would expect any frustrating brother to chide and push. So we started at it and had a fantastic cleaning session.  Then while we were trying to figure out what to do, Aoife and Enda got back to the house and we all decided to go to go out in the boat at Liam’s family’s seaside house and go fishing. We got there and Liam’s brother + family + Liam’s dad was there. We went out for a bit but it was slightly raining and the ocean was pretty choppy.

After we got back, the skies decided to clear up and the kids came down to play next to the ocean. We tried to catch crabs, looked at seaweed piles, pointed out rainbows, and explored the shallow waters. The boys ran around like little explorers trying to understand everything they could touch and see.  It was a perfect time with the family. We stayed and visited for hours and drank countless cups of tea. The exuberance of the kids combined with the fresh air makes me feel so at peace and happy here.
