It was while living in Washington State, when I first learned the art of BEing in nature. Not just capturing it from behind a camera. But instead, just setting down the camera or leaving it behind completely. To “BE” is an art. It takes self control and patience. I learned the importance of stopping to BE in a moment and knowing that the only thing that will keep it with me forever is what I see with my eyes, smell as it drifts through the breeze, touch as I encounter and stop moving enough to hear in the quiet. And even when you think you are alone, you really are not. There is so much life just waiting to be experienced. You just have let it happen. – a wanderer-
You’re so right and it takes so much effort to just be. I have been doing meditation for around a year and it has been such a great change in my life 🙂
I’ve just started trying mediation. I’m awful at it. But I still try.
